Agricultural Services Board Scholarship

The Agricultural Service Board will be awarding five (5) scholarships of $1,000.00 each. These scholarships will be awarded upon proof of Post-Secondary Education Registration and must be used in the year awarded.

CRITERIA

Applicant must be a resident of the Municipal District of Foothills No. 31 including the hamlets of Blackie, Cayley, Aldersyde, Priddis, Millarville, Heritage Pointe, Dewinton.
Field of study must be at a recognized College of Agriculture leading to a Degree in Agriculture or Veterinary Medicine, or a School of Agriculture leading to a Diploma. (Applicant is free to choose field of study in Agriculture);

• Based on academic standing;
• Based on financial need;
• Applicant need not be a High School student but must be attending school for agricultural or veterinary education with preference given to first year students;

DATE OF APPLICATION

Must be submitted by June 30, 2011
