Agricultural Services Board Scholarship
The Agricultural Service Board will be awarding a cumulative total of up to $5,000 worth of Scholarships in 2016. Qualified Applicants will be enrolled in Post-Secondary Education in the fields of agriculture, veterinary studies, or studies intended to effect change in the agricultural landscape. These scholarships will be awarded upon proof of Post-Secondary education registration and must be used in the year awarded.
Applicant must be a resident of the Municipal District of Foothills No. 31 which includes the hamlets of Blackie, Cayley, Aldersyde, Priddis, Millarville, Heritage Pointe and Dewinton.
The Applicant’s Field of study must lead to a Degree or Diploma in studies related to Agriculture or Veterinary Medicine, and enrollment must be to a recognized Post-Secondary Institution.
The Scholarship(s) will be awarded based on the following criteria:
- Academic standing.
- Financial need.
- Preference will be given to first year students.

Must be submitted by June 30, 2016
